Short day of poker today, played a few sng's on stars took 1st in a $3.25 45 man for like 40 bucks. Finally got into the green at UB after busting out 4th in a little tourney, paid about $72. I wont be playing this evening, Im gonna hang with the family and watch movies and stuff.

Day 1

Monday

I played a bit in the afternoon and it was really bad, I dont know if it was the fact I kinda jumped in thinking "New Day New Challenge!" or what. I wasnt playing well and I was multitasking, browsing the internet, eating lunch, talking on the phone etc.. I wasnt gonna play this evening since I had a bad run earlier, but decided to go ahead and play a few games. Things turned out well at stars I had a $2nd place in a $4.40 180 which helped the profits, over at UB I just couldnt get anything rolling, I played sng's at UB early in the day where I had 2 3rd place finishes for $10 a piece (Boooo) and in the evening just jumped into a $5.50 $1500 gtd. busted fairly early and closed UB for the night. Overall I did ok for my 1st day, since I have nothing to really compare it to I cant say if it was good/bad or what. However ending the day with more than I started with cant be all bad can it?

Gotta start somewhere......

Well here goes.... I play poker online and Im sick of depositing! I win some, but I lose more... I dont follow proper bankroll management and play above my head quite often.... So I'm making a fresh start, for the next 90-120 days I will attempt to change my bad habits.

I will limit myself to only playing on pokerstars and ultimatebet, for the 1st 30 days I will only enter tournaments or sng's with a $5 or under buy in (not counting rake), after the 1st 30 days I will see where Im sitting at in profits and determine if I should/could move up in limits or stay where Im at.

I will start with $100 on each site, and post profits or losses after each session. My goal for the 1st month is to turn each $100 into $1000.

For the time being I will be keeping my screen names to myself.... this may change in the future.
